This standard gives requirements and methods for sampling and testing leaded gasoline for motor vehicles. By leaded gasoline for motor vehicles, we mean any volatile mineral oil, intended for the operation of spark-ignition engines, used for the propulsion of vehicles. Gasoline consis s of at least 80% by volume of hydrocarbons, including conventional additives (maximum 3% by volume) such as anti-icing, anti-corrosion, detergents, dyes, anti-oxidants, anti-rust . It may contain substitute fuels (organic oxygenated compounds) while respecting the requirements of standard NBN T 52-725. Leaded gasoline is any gasoline containing organic lead derivatives intended to improve its anti-detonating value, the name of which is “leaded premium gasoline”.
