1.1 The purpose of this standard is to determine, by means of a mechanical stirring device, the resis ance of dyes on textiles to the action of washing at high temperatures in the presence of bleaching agents releasing active oxygen. 1.2 This standard is only applicable to fibers capable of withstanding the test conditions and is primarily intended for natural cellulosic fibers.
