This International Standard specifies the conditions for collecting and preparing samples for emis ion spectral analysis Sampling is carried out, as desired, by drilling or by sawing slices. Both sampling methods provide a sample for possible analysis using other standardized methods. This International Standard only covers the collection and preparation of zinc ingot samples. However, interested parties may agree to take samples of zinc in liquid state during production.
