This Malaysian Standard specifies the requirements for unplasticized PVC pipe, fittings and accessories suitable for the conveyance of normal domestic effluents and surface water. It should be noted that the draft standard does not apply to pipe for use with effluents which may arise from premises where prolonged discharge of wastes at elevated temperature may occur.
This standard applies to drain pipe to be laid under gardens, fields, driveways, yards and roads other than main roads.
