1.1 This Malaysian Standard prescribes the method for evaluation of the biological efficacy of mosquito mats by the use of glass chamber method.
1.2 This method provides a satisfactory means of determining the relative efficiency of mosquito mats.
1.3 As a biological test, it is subject to the variation that accompanying the reactions of living organisms. It should be employed under close supervision of personnel familiar with the biological testing of insecticides.
1.4 ln order to measure the effectiveness with reasonable tolerance, the test is run in conjunction with standard mosquito mats.
