This Korean Industrial Standard specifies general double suction volute pumps (hereinafter referred to as the "pumps") which are used for clean water at Ot: to 40t> under the maximum working pressure 1.4MPa{14.3kgf/cm2L which have a suction bore(1) from 200 to 500mm and each of which is directly coupled with a 50Hz or 60Hz three phase induction motor of 4, 6 or 8 poles an a common bed by means of a flexible coupling.
Notes (') The bore of pump is expressed by the nominal diameter of flange.
Remarks 1. This Standard is applicable for pumps used at a temperature other than a temperature between O℃ and 40℃, but the limit of temperature in such a case shall be assigned by the manufacturer. 2.
