Scope
This Korean Industrial Standard specifies the piston type cylinders used for pneumatic circuits, in particular, of double acting type with 7 kgf/cm2 {700 kPa} maximum working pressure, hereinafter referred to as the "cylinders". The cylinders specified in this standard are to be used under the following conditions: (1) Maximum Working Pressure The maximum working pressure (by gauge, and so hereunder) is 7 kgf/cm2 {700 kPa}. (2) Minimum Working Pressure The minimum working pressure is 1 kgf/cm2 {100 kPa}. (3) Ambient Temperature and Working Air Temperature Ambient temperature and working air temperature range from 5 to 60°C. (4) Working Piston Speed Working piston speed is 50 to 500 mm/s. (5) Filter and Lubricator For the circuits which use the cylinders, the pneumatic use filters specified in KS B 6348 (Filters for pneumatic use) and the pneumatic use lubricators specified in KS B 6374 (Lubricators for penumatic use) are to be used. Remark: The units and numerical values given in { } in this standard are in accordance with the International Syst Units (SI), and are appended for reference. The conversion factors for them are as follows: 1kgf/cm2 = 98.0665 kPa〓100 kPa 1kgf= 9.80665 N〓1 ON
