This Korean Industrial Standard specifies the screw lampholders shown in Table 1 equipped with E type screw shell specified in KS C 7702 (Lamp caps and holders), which are used in an electric line of a.c. 600 V or under at a frequency of 60 Hz. However, such lampholders for special purpose as given below are not included.
(1) Lampholders with fuse
(2) Lampholders for fluorescent lamp glow starter
(3) Lampholders for infrared lamp
(4) Lampholders used in such special places as on ships, on vehicles, in dangerous places where explosion is anticipated.
