Scope

This Korean Industrial Standard specifies magnetic-circuit type ballasts(hereafter referred to as the "ballasts") with rated input voltage not exceeding 500 V a.c. and rated secondary voltage not exceeding 1000 V intended for use in general places, among those for use to operate the fluorescent lamps and the low pressure mercury lamps, (hereafter referred to as the "lamps"), specified in KS C 7601 and KS C 7615 respectively.
