This standard regulates the waterproof package to prevent the inside package from water penetration by using the waterproof packaging material, waterproof adhesive and etc. against fresh water, sea water, rain and water spray. Remarks 1. Any waterproof package does not always possess dampproof one.
2. In case waterproof package and dampproof package are used together, dampproof one shall be made inside while waterproof one made outside.
