This Korean Industrial Standard specifies the bimetal type thermal switches (hereafter referred to as "bimetal thermal switch") to be used for the safety devices of gas appliances using liquefied petroleum gas(1) or town gas(2) having gas pressures of 3.3kPa(330mmH2O) or less. Note (1) Liquefied petroleum gas refers to the gas specified in KS M 2150.
