- Scope
- This standard specifies the test method for evaluating the propensity of gasoline detergents to clog electronic orifice fuel injectors (PFI). This part is applicable to the evaluation of gasoline detergent, motor gasoline and its component oils on the detergency of electronic orifice fuel injectors (PFI). Note: This test method is only suitable for evaluating the deposit control performance of gasoline detergents in the tip area of electronic orifice fuel nozzles.
