This Korean Industrial Standard specifies the heat strengthened glass(1) to be used mainly for the external walls, openings, etc. of the buildings.
Note (1) The heat-stregthened glass are those which mode of crackinghas beer so made as to be similar to that of the plate glass material, creating the compressive stress layer of an appropriate size on the glass surface by heat treatment of the plate glass, increasing the breaking strength, as well as, when it has been fractured.
