This Korean Industrial Standard specifies the silencers (hereinafter referred to as "silencers"), for pneumatic use to attenuate the exhaust sound, which are to be installed at the exhaust ports of the directional control valves and the like (hereinafter referred to as "valves") used in pneumatic circuits.
Remark The working conditions of the silencers shall be as follows :
(a) The working pressure shall be within the range of 0 to 1MPa (hereinafter expressed in gauge pressure).
(b) The working temperature of air and the ambient temperature shall be within the range of 5 to 60T;.
