1.1 This standard covers the specification for compounded feeds used as a sole source of nutrients for pigs.
1.2 The standard shall apply to the following types of pig rations:
(a) Creep feed for piglets weighing up to 20 kg live weight.
(b) Sow and weaner rations for growing pigs up to 55 kg live weight and adult breeding pigs.
(c) Pig finishing rations for fattening pigs over 55 kg live weight.
(d) Cereal balancer — which when used as recommended should produce a ration meeting the requirements of the rations (a), (b) and (c).
