Scope

1.1 This standard specifies the requirements and methods of sampling and test for ethylene/acrylic acid copolymers ( EAA ) for the manu-facture of plastic items used in contact with foodstuffs, pharmaceuticals and drinking water. 1.2 This standard does not purport to establish suitability of the packaging media with particular foodstuffs, pharmaceuticals, drinking water, from other than toxicological considerations.
