1.1 This standard covers the requirements for iron ore pellets for both solid and gaseous reductant based direct reduction processes to produce steel in electric arc furnaces or in oxygen steel making processes.
1.2 Requirements covered in this standard shall meet the requirements at the point of receipt unless stated otherwise.
