1.1 This standard specifies the overall dimensions and other requirements for limited supply plugs for use with either grease or oil.
1.1.1 It does not deal with the component parts of the limited supply plug assemblies.
Note — Limited supply plugs for use with grease are intended to operate with grease of the type normally employed for lubrication of ball and roller bearings at normal temperature. The limited supply plugs for oil are intended to be used with oils having a viscosity between the 500 and 2 500 centistokes at normal temperature.
