This standard ( Part V ) deals with the design and construction of foundations, such as block foundations, frame foundations and other similar support constructions of reinforced concrete for the installation of the following machines:
a) Forging and stamping presses,
b) Pig breakers (Fig. 1 and 2 show typical foundations for pig breakers),
c) Elevators, and
d) Hoist towers (conveyor as well as pit head towers ) and driving gear with electric motor.
