Scope

This standard prescribes the requirements and the methods of test for temporary corrosion pre-ventive, fluid, soft film, solvent deposited, water displacing, which is suitable primarily as a water displacing agent for wet metal surfaces. The film left as a residue after treatment confers protection against corrosion under moderate conditions.
