Scope

1.1 This standard specifies a microscopic method for determining the non-metallic inclusions in wrought steel products, using standard diagrams. 1.1.1 This standard deals only with the test method for evaluating the degree of cleanliness and does not define or establish limits of acceptability for any grade of steel.
