Scope

1.1 This standard prescribes the requirements and methods of test for steel and zinc alloy screwed closures used on drums of nominal capacity 200 litres with fixed ends ( see IS : 1783-1983* ). 1.1.1 Two nominal sizes of 50 mm and 20 mm closures have been covered in this standard.
