1.1 This standard covers the requirements and methods of test for single and double glass-fibre covered copper conductors of sizes from 0·250 mm to 4·000 mm, the glass-fibre being bonded with suitable highly polymerized thermosetting varnish.
1.1.1 Stranded conductors, covered conductors containing a layer of material other than bonded glass, and glass braided coverings are not included in this standard.
