1.1 This standard covers the dimensions, for straight involute splines of 30° pressure angle, with three different types of fits, namely, major dia-meter fit, minor diameter fit and side fit.
1.2 Involute splines of modules (1), 1.25, (1.5), 2, (2.5), 3, (4), 5, (6), 8 and (10) are covered in this standard. The values given within brackets are non-preferred.
