Scope

This standard (Part I) prescribes the requirements of series 1 non-pressurized box type dry bulk containers with gravity discharge, designated 1AA, 1A, IB, 1C and ID which are suitable for carriage of dry solids in bulk for international exchange and for conveyance by road, rail and sea, including interchange between these modes of transport.
