1.1 This standard specifies dimensions, tolerances, strength and light transmission of glassfibre reinforced translucent plastics sheeting of the profiles specified in IS 277 : 1985 'Specification for galvanized steel sheet ( plain and corrugated ) (fourth revis ion ), IS 459 : 1970 'Specification for unreinforced corrugated and semi corrugated asbestos cement sheets ( second revision )' and IS 1254 : 1975 'Specification for corrugated alumi-nium sheet ( second revision )' for use in roofs.
1.2 The recommended temperature range over which the sheets can be used as roof lights or for glazing should be from - 20 to +60°C.
