This standard covers the requirements of powder sizes of diamond ( natural or synthetic ) or cubic boron nitride micron powders, standard size ranges of these powders and also the method of measuring the particle size based on the use of an optical microscope.
NOTE — For simplification, reference is made through-out this standard to 'Diamond' grains but all indi-cations also apply to cubic boron nitride.
