1.1 This standard (Part II) covers the various terms and symbols along with the definitions, which are used in sampling and process control. 1.2 For the purpose of easy reference, the terms have been divided into the following 3 sections: a) General terms relating to methods of sampling (see 2), b) Terms relating to sampling inspection (see 3), and c) Terms relating to control charts (see 4).
