Scope

1.1 This standard ( Part IV ) for methods of measurement of air pollution prescribed a method for the determination of concentration of suspended matter in air. 1.1.1 This method gives a direct measure of the mass of the materials filtered out from the sample of air. 1.1.2 This method does not cover particle counting or sizing.
