Covers the requirements for large series hexagon, high strength structural steel nuts in property classes 8 and 10 and in the size range M16 to M36 suitable for use in both friction-type and bearing-type structural steel joints. Nuts to this standard when matched with the appropriate bolts have been designed to provide and assembly with a high level of assurance against failure by thread stripping on overtightening.
