Scope

1.1 This standard prescribes a method for evaluating strength of the homogeneous vat dyestuffs by exhaust dyeing. 1.2 The method prescribed in this standard is not applicable to mixtures of dyestuffs. The qualitative tests are given in Appendix A to distinguish a homogenous dyestuffs (with or without corrective shade components) from a mixture of dyestuff.
