Scope

This International Standard specifies a flame atomic absorption spectrometric method for the determination of the lead and/or zinc content of iron ores. This method is applicable to a concentration range of 0.001 to 0.5 % (mlm) of lead and 0.001 to 0.5 % (mlm) of zinc in natural iron ores, and iron ore concentrates and agglomerates including sinter products.
