Scope

1.1 This standard prescribes a method for deter-mining fastness of dyestuffs to the action of iron or copper (or their salts) which are used in the construction of dyeing machinery (or resulting from water and steam used in dyeing). 1.2 This method is applicable to all types of dye-stuffs used for dyeing textiles.
