Scope

1.1 This standard ( Part I) covers the basic requirements for the specification of ISO series 1 platform freight containers which, with certain limitations, are suitable for international exchange and for conveyance by road, rail and sea, including interchange between these forms of transport. 1.2 The platform containers covered by this standard have marking code as 60.
