1.1 This standard specifies the general design and performance requirements for still projectors of the following types:
a) Still projectors for slides,
b) Combined still projectors for slides and film strips, and
c) Still projectors for film strips.
1.2 This standard does not cover slide projectors intended for commercial use, for example, in cinemas and theatres.
