Scope

This standard covers the requirements of fuse-wires used in rewirable type electric fuses up to 650 V. Note — This standard presently covers fuse-wires of ETP copper ( tinned ) only. Fuse-wires of other materials are under consideration. Fuse-wires covered by this standard are intended for use in rewirable fuses conforming to IS : 2086-1963*.
