Scope

1.1 This standard (Part III) covers the requirements of enamelled rectan-gular and square copper wires with high mechanical properties (for example, copper conductors covered with enamel on a polyvinylacetal base). 1.2 Range of Sizes — This standard covers conductors with fine and medium covering, and of thicknesses from 0.80 up to and including 5.6 mm and widths from 2 up to and including 16 mm.
