Scope

1.1 This standard ( Part III) is intended to give guidance to all concerned with the design, construction, use and maintenance of equipments using thyristors so that optimum device performance and life may be ensured. 1.1.1 This standard should be used in conjunction with IS:5469 (Part I)-1969* which is necessary adjunct to this standard.
