Scope

1.1 This standard prescribes a method for determination of water repellency, resistance to wetting (in term of water absorbed ) and resist-ance to penetration by water ( in terms of water penetrated ) of fabrics by the Bundesmann type apparatus. 1.1.1 It is primarily applicable to woven or non-woven water repellent fabrics that are permeable to air.
