This standard describes geometrical tests on manually operated dividing heads for machine tools and the corresponding permissible deviations, with reference to IS : 2063-1962 ' Code for testing machine tools'.
1.1 This standard is applicable to dividing heads of general purpose use and of normal accuracy and deals only with the verification of accuracy.
