Scope

1.1 This standard ( Part IV ) prescribes uniform methods of measurement of electromagnetic interference characteristics (terminal interference voltage and radiation of electromagnetic energy ) from industrial, scientific and medical (ISM) radio frequency equipment and microwave apparatus, heating and therapeutic apparatus which may cause interference of radio reception both for TV and sound. 1.2 The frequency range covered is 150 kHz to 18 GHz.
