Scope

1.1 This standard ( Part 2 ) prescribes material and other requirements of cylindrical sliver cans made of vulcanized fibre. 1.2 Shape, dimensions, workmanship, methods of test, designation, marking and sampling for cylindrical sliver cans are specified in IS : 7875 ( Part 1 )-1984*.
