This standard describes the methods of sampling of copper concentrates for the purpose of chemical analysis, particle size distribution and moisture determination of batches/lots of concentrates within a manufacturing unit or during despatches and receipts from one unit to another or during import/export of the material. This covers sampling methods from wagons, trucks, stockpiles as well as from bags and other containers and also belt sampling.
