Scope

1.1 This standard prescribes the methods of sampling for non-fabricated leather in the form of whole hides of skins, sides, butts, bends, bellies or shoulders. 1.1.1 This sampling procedure is intended for use in obtaining representative samples of leather for carrying out visual, physical, chemical and other tests.
