Scope

This standard specifies requirements for non-automatic, pressure steam sterilizers, vertical, cylindrical type designed for working pressure of 126 kN/m2 ( 1.26 kgf/cm2 approx ) gauge but shall be set to operate at 105 kN/m2+ 15 kN/m2 (1.05 + 0.15 kgf/cm2 approx) gauge pressure ( corresponding temperature of the saturated steam inside the chamber is minimum 121℃ ).
