Scope

1.1 This standard covers ac metal-enclosed switchgear and controlgear for indoor and outdoor installations for use in voltages above 1 000 volts but not exceeding 11 000 volts. 1.2 The service conditions for which the metal-enclosed switchgear and controlgear conforming to this specification are suitable, are given in Appendix B.
