Scope

Bl This standard establishes the test methods for textile auxiliaries, such as humectants for textile fibers, in reducing baths, including determinations of wetting power, stability index, loss of wetting power due to substantivity and foaming power. B-2 All methods are comparative and the operator must carry out the tests that he considers of interest according to the industrial process, in a comparative manner with a known humectant.
