Scope

Bl This standard establishes the test methods for textile auxiliaries used as humectants for textile fibers, in alkaline baths providing determinations of humectant quality, stability index, loss of wetting power due to substantivity and foaming power. B-2 All methods are comparative and the operator must carry out the tests that he considers appropriate in accordance with the industrial process, in a comparative manner with a known hunoctant.
