Scope
Bl This standard establishes the characteristics that copper conductors insulated with polyvinyl chloride must satisfy, understanding that, as it is a general standard, the corresponding IRAM standard must be consulted for each type of conductor, in which the additional requirements will be established. . B-2 The conductors provided for in this standard are suitable for cases in which the temperature in the conductor does not exceed 60 C and the minimum at which they are used is not less than — 5 C. B-3 This standard does not include the conductors for special uses such as those with wires to be used in windings of machines and measuring instruments.
