Scope
B-1 This standard addresses fluorescent lamps with heated, preheated electrodes, intended for use on alternating current circuits, for general lighting. B-2 This standard refers to electric lamps with low-pressure discharge of mercury, in which the arc that takes place in that discharge mainly produces a wave whose length is 2537 angstrom. B-3 This standard establishes common replacement parts for lamps of the type mentioned in B-1/2; the values of the characteristics defining the quality of the different lamps of that type are established in the corresponding IRAM standards.
